The innings began aggressively with openers Christopher Blucher and Latchman Bisram setting the tone. The pair dominated the powerplay with fluent strokeplay and smart running between the wickets. Blucher smashed 45 off just 30 balls, including four boundaries and two towering sixes, while Bisram matched the intensity with 44 from 33 deliveries, striking five fours and two sixes. Their partnership gave Richmond Hill Liberty the perfect platform and kept Pak America’s bowlers under pressure throughout the opening overs.

Although Pak America fought back through Ali Zar, who claimed an impressive five wickets, Richmond Hill Liberty continued to push forward thanks to valuable middle-order contributions. Nirshaw Khan added a quick 22 with two sixes, while Mahendra Parsaram anchored the later stages of the innings with an unbeaten 25. The standout contribution, however, came from all-rounder Tamesh Persaud, whose composed and impactful innings proved crucial in shifting momentum firmly in Liberty’s favor. Defending 197, Richmond Hill Liberty produced a disciplined bowling and fielding effort from the very beginning. Andrew Tomby provided the early breakthrough before captain Keron Sewnarine took control with a superb spell of 3 wickets for just 11 runs in four overs. Sewnarine removed key Pak America batters and consistently built pressure with accurate bowling.

Leon Mohabir also delivered an outstanding performance, finishing with 3 wickets for 20 runs while maintaining excellent control throughout his spell. Michael Sultan chipped in with two important wickets as Pak America struggled to build meaningful partnerships after their aggressive start.

The unquestionable star of the match was Tamesh Persaud, whose all-round brilliance earned him Man of the Match honors. In addition to his crucial 36 runs, Persaud bowled six economical overs, conceding only 22 runs, and was exceptional in the field with four catches. His contributions in every department highlighted the depth and balance within the Richmond Hill Liberty lineup and capped off a memorable victory for the club.
