The win was led by three-wicket hauls from Vedeshpaul Singh and Michael Sultan and an aggressive half-century from Dino Chooweenam. Despite half-centuries from Trevor Henry and Tego McKenzie on Sunday, the team suffered a 5-wicket loss to Everest/ACS.

Richmond Hill Liberty registered a convincing 9-wicket victory over NYC 11 Stars in the NYNCL Rockaway Premier Division Saturday 2023 league match held on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
After winning the toss, NYC 11 Stars opted to bat first but struggled to get going against the disciplined bowling attack of Richmond Hill Liberty CC. They lost wickets at regular intervals, with Vedeshpaul Singh being the pick of the bowlers, claiming three crucial wickets. Michael Sultan also made a significant impact, taking three wickets, while Tamesh Persaud and Chandrapaul Hemraj chipped in with 2 wickets and 1 wicket respectively. The NYC 11 Stars’ innings stuttered to 94 runs in 19.5 overs.
In response, Richmond Hill Liberty chased down the target with ease, powered by an explosive innings from Dino Chooweenam. He displayed an attacking brand of cricket, scoring 55 runs off just 30 balls, smashing 9 fours and 2 sixes. Shiv Sangalemaa provided a steady start, contributing 20 runs to the partnership. Besides Azeemuddin Khan, the rest of the batsmen did not get an opportunity to bat as Richmond Hill Liberty CC reached the target in just 9.1 overs with a remarkable 97 runs on the board.

ON SUNDAY: RHL vs Everest/ACS
Everest/ACS secured a thrilling 5-wicket victory over Richmond Hill Liberty CC in the LAX NETWORK QUEENS DBA DUNKIN 40 OVERS COMPETITION 2023 league match held on July 30, 2023.
Richmond Hill Liberty CC won the toss and chose to bat first. The team’s top order struggled against the disciplined bowling attack of Everest/ACS. Nial Smith was the standout bowler, taking three crucial wickets and putting pressure on the batting side. Deveshwari Prashad and Moien Khan also contributed with two wickets each, restricting Richmond Hill Liberty CC to a total of 194 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 40 overs.
Trevor Henry was the top scorer for Richmond Hill Liberty CC with a patient and well-crafted innings of 60 runs off 89 balls. He was supported by Tegana Mc Kenzie, who played an aggressive knock, scoring 57 runs off 69 balls. However, their efforts weren’t enough to post a challenging target on the board.
In response, Everest/ACS got off to a steady start after losing Amarnauth Persaud early. Ronaldo Ronaldo’s attacking knock of 42 runs off 47 balls set the tone for the chase. Richmond Hill Liberty CC bowlers tried to make a comeback into the game, but the target was achieved with ease. Altaaf Habibulla, Latchman Bisram, Leon Mohabir, and Samuel Raghubir managed to take one wicket each.
Everest/ACS reached the target with 5 wickets in hand and 8.3 overs to spare. The team showcased an excellent batting performance.
