Tristann Coleman was the star of the innings, playing a scintillating knock of 151 runs off just 83 balls, which included 10 fours and 15 sixes. After surviving a couple of close leg-before-wicket calls early in the inning, Coleman, mixed prudent defense with world-class ball striking as he dispatched the RHLCC attack to all parts of the Baisley Cage. The powerful, former Jamaica and West Indies U19 batsman brought up his first 50 in just 18 balls. His century came in 64 balls and he rounded out his 150 in 82 balls for a chance-less inning before falling for 151.
Kemar Marshall also contributed a handy 36 runs. Richmond Hill Liberty struggled to make breakthroughs, with Dino Chooweenam and Vedeshpaul Singh being the only wicket-takers, taking one wicket each. Meten Meer Zorg CC reached the target in just 24.3 overs, finishing with a total of 224 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
Tristann Coleman’s magnificent century was the standout performance of the match. Richmond Hill Liberty’s batting lineup couldn’t sustain partnerships robbing #TheBlueNation of a projected score upwards of 265 heading into their last 10 overs. Overall, it was a convincing victory for Meten Meer Zorg CC as they comfortably chased down the target and emerged victorious by 8 wickets.
